What kind of person are we looking for?

We’re looking for an electrical estimator, with at least a years experience but can’t see a future in it and would like to take a different career path.

Ideally you’ll have an interest in software and innovation and the prospect of getting into the tech sector to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment excites you.

Being tech-savvy you’ll soon get to grips with our software (if you’re not already!) and see the value it offers our customers. You should be confident talking to customers either verbally or in writing and, being from the same industry, you’ll be able to build up a real rapport.

A self-starter and hungry to learn, you'll be comfortable bringing new ideas to the table and able to prioritise and execute your workload without needing to be managed.

For this role you do need to have competent computer keyboard skills. We’re not looking for a typist but you need to be able to type at a reasonable pace and to a good standard.

What will the role involve?

As a key member of the Customer Success team you will be responsible for interactions with our customers, from initial enquiry, through the pre-sales process, during the trial period, post-sale onboarding and the ongoing relationship.

You will be needed to proactively talk to potential and existing customers, ask about their experience with the product, identify where they are going wrong and any features they’re not making use of.

You will hold demonstrations via web conference and in-person with all levels of customers, from junior estimators to senior decision makers, and must be confident in doing so.

Being a SaaS business (software as a service) means that signing up a new user is just the start of our relationship with them. It’s up to us to prove the value of our products to them as estimators, and also their business - your expertise will ensure we do this successfully, building a solid base of customers who regularly use our products and adopt it to the point that it’s essential to the success of their business.
