Our support team are former-estimators who know the industry (and our product) inside out. Meet product specialists Rebecca Smith and Katie Mayhew as they talk you through their estimating experience and how they support Countfire customers.

Rebecca: When I used to do my estimating, I used to use a spreadsheet and a lot of our customers use spreadsheets as well. If you're copying lines or copying things in Excel, you've got to make sure your formulas are there. The work you do in Countfire is easy because you don't have to worry about any of that. It does it all for you.

Katie: We're all a really friendly bunch and my colleagues are all really nice. So, it was a really welcoming atmosphere when I first joined and that was something that I felt from looking into the company.

I think the product is really stand out, helpful for estimating and helps you to speed up your takeoffs. You can check your accuracy, which is really handy because there's no real way to check your accuracy with the manual methods.

Rebecca: If you can't do it in the software, then we have workarounds for that. There's also things that we can do with the drawings as well. So I can help modify drawings in a way so they work better in the software as well, obviously with the help of our technical team!

Katie: With my estimating experience, I find it quite easy to be able to understand what a customer wants to do in the software. So when they come in to our live chat on the orange button at the bottom right hand corner, I can easily understand what the issue is they're having and find a solution whether it's a feature of the software or a workaround so that they can get the result that they want to easily and in an efficient way that works for their processes.
